Interview with Ken -Vertical Farming Higher yield, less overhead cost!

This is Ken Cunningham of Foggy Farm in Watsonville, California. I come from Santa Cruz County, where marijuana is usually common. Most of the people who accepted me growing up engaged in this business in some way.

I am very fortunate to be able to participate in this adventure with friends and family. In the past few years, we have assembled an excellent team. With the emergence of these Greenhouse LED Grow Light and the emergence of multi-layer rolling platforms, we can double and triple the footprint in any space. This allows us to obtain a higher output with less overhead. Vanq enables us to have an efficient and durable multi-layer platform. The carriage makes all parts of the garden easily accessible and moves almost effortlessly. This can improve efficiency and workflow, and help reduce costs. We found that LEDs produce beautiful flowers and unparalleled terpene contours.

When we learned about power saving and lower heat output, we were very interested in the ability to run vertically. Vanq racks cooperated with Greenhouse Trays to provide us with very easy to use and durable racks, easy to clean and powerful. My 8-year-old can move these shelves with plants, no problem. City Farm hopes to represent a platform for sustainable development and environmental protection. We are very happy to be at the forefront of this technology and can't wait to see its development. By adding Vanq's multi-layer rolling platform and these Vertical Farming LED Grow Light from Vanq, we can double the canopy, and sometimes even double the canopy on any floor. This feature can increase production, improve square footage, and simplify work processes. When expanding the scale, we need to improve efficiency, so we consider a lot of manpower, a lot of time and a lot of pressure. This platform allows us to make the most of our beds. It's really great to raise it to three to four floors! As you can see, this is a very impressive facility.

We were surprised by this, it exceeded all our expectations. These pallets keep us at the forefront. Usually, through this multi-layer movable system, no one really knows how to move the air, so people fix the fan in a vertical direction and make the direct exhaust fan blow away the entire CA, or do nothing. So for me, this is a big problem. What we ultimately want to do is to build a low piping system between the light bars at the bottom of the deck. There is a ventilation system, two low air ducts, and a filtering system that can filter and pressurize the air before releasing it to the duct so that the air can move from the front to half of the CFM (cubic feet per minute). Back) The air is evenly distributed.

Most importantly, we do this so that you can insert the CO2 pipe into the system, and it has also become a CO2 delivery system. I think it is a huge challenge to integrate small-scale local growers with a modern industrial business environment, so we re-understand the licensing process, understand the tax process, and understand the larger workflow. Therefore, I think this will be a learning curve for all of us. The advantage of this platform is that the workflow has been processed and space optimization has also been optimized. I think overall, this is the most effective opportunity there.
